Got Milk? Thank You, But, No Thank You.

Would you like a glass of antibiotics, hormones, and genetically-modified substances? No? In general that just sounds disgusting, right? You may want to put down that gallon of milk then. Cow's milk is an unhealthy fluid from diseased animals that contains a wide range of dangerous and disease-causing substances that have a cumulative negative effect on all who consume it.

All those “Got Milk?” ads from the last decade or so would have us believe that dairy is a cornerstone of a healthy diet, providing essential nutrients, fortifying our bones, and knocking out osteoporosis left and right. But... is this true? Is consuming dairy necessary or even healthy for most people?

The truth is, dairy can lead to countless health issues and, for many, can cause more harm than good, here’s why.

Dairy is one of the most inflammatory foods in our modern diet, second only to gluten. It causes inflammation in a large percentage of the population, resulting in digestive issues such as bloating, gas, constipation, and diarrhea, as well as other symptoms including acne, and a stronger presentation of autism behaviors.

So what's hiding in your milk?

A Veritable Hormone Cocktail: including pituitary, steroid, hypothalamic, and thyroid hormones (remember most cows are extremely stressed)

Gastrointestinal Peptides: Nerve and epidermal growth factors, and the growth inhibitors MDGI and MAFrBGH (Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone): a genetically engineered hormone directly linked to breast, colon and prostate cancer. This is injected into cows to increase milk production.

Pus: National averages show at least 322 million cell-counts of pus per glass! This is well-above the human limit for pus-intake, and has been directly linked to paratuberculosis bacteria, as well as Crohn's Disease. The pus comes from infected udders on the cows known as mastitis.

Blood Cells: The USDA allows up to 1.5 million white blood cells per milliliter of commonly-sold milk. Yes, you are drinking cow's blood in the milk and the USDA is giving you a giant thumbs up to do so.

Antibiotics: Currently, cows are in such a state of disease and mistreatment that they are continually being injected with antibiotic medicines, and rubbed down with chemical-laden ointments to deal with their chronic infections. Currently, regulating committees only test for 4 of the 85 drugs in dairy cows. This means that the other 81 drugs in cow's milk are coming directly into your glasses and bodies.

Ultimately the decision of whether or not to consume dairy rests with you. Try eliminating 100% of dairy from your diet for 30 days and pay attention to how your body reacts. After the 30 days if you would like to reintroduce diary in different forms and sources, listen and feel how your body responds. If you are worried about not consuming enough Calcium, here are some suggestions:

Almonds

Kale

Oranges

Collard Greens

Broccoli

Figs

Spinach

Enriched rice, almond, hemp and coconut milks

Sesame seeds

Tofu
